Tia Perry
DVM, MPH, CCRT
Dr. Tia Perry grew up in Winchester, Virginia and graduated from Virginia Intermont College with a Bachelor of Science in Pre-Veterinary Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in Equestrian Studies in 2007.
She graduated from the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 2014, where she pursued interests in both small animal medicine and infectious disease (completing a concurrent Masters in Public Health at the Virginia Polytechnic Institute).
After graduation, she moved to the Frederick, MD area, and spent one year working at the University of Maryland in Veterinary Resources at their facility in Baltimore, MD. Following that, she started in small animal and exotic medicine at a small private practice in Hagerstown, Maryland in 2015.
She completed her Certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapist training in 2017. She is deeply focused on pain management and helping her patient’s live their lives at the highest level of activity and with the greatest quality of life. Currently, Dr. Perry is working to complete her certifications in acupuncture and herbal therapies.
In her free time, Dr. Perry enjoys spending time with her husband, 2 dogs, and 3 horses. She actively enjoys gardening, horseback riding, hiking, dancing, and sewing.
