Kidus Yared
DVM, Ophthalmology Intern
Dr. Yared is from the Atlanta, Georgia area, where he began his journey in veterinary medicine. He earned dual bachelor's degrees in Avian Biology and Biological Sciences from the University of Georgia, followed by his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree there as well. His passion for ophthalmology developed during his studies.
After graduating, Dr. Yared began a rigorous rotating internship at a prominent specialty hospital in northern Atlanta. This hands-on experience helped him refine his skills and deepen his expertise across various aspects of veterinary care, preparing him for a successful career.
When he’s not working at the hospital, Dr. Yared enjoys a variety of hobbies. He loves spending time outdoors, particularly fishing. He also takes pleasure in caring for his extensive collection of plants and aquariums. Additionally, he enjoys relaxing with his two affectionate cats, Jade and Margot.
