Lilian Shen
DVM, Resident in Cardiology
Lilian graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Florida and stayed in Gainesville to attend veterinary school at the UF College of Veterinary Medicine.
Following graduation, Lilian completed a small animal medicine and surgery internship at Virginia Tech, followed by a cardiology specialty internship in Kirkland. She started an emergency and critical care specialty internship at the University of Illinois prior to beginning her combined post-doctoral research/cardiology residency program with the University of Florida and CVCA.
In her spare time, Dr. Shen enjoys baking, cooking, and running. She is also excited be back in Virginia to explore the beautiful hiking trails with her dogs, Rodgers and Stella.
